iFOVS, as the first Business Support Services company ever in Zamboanga Sibugay, is aiming to provide job opportunities to our fellow Sibugaynons and neighbouring municipalities. Indeed, we believe that our local citizens have the potential that our company is looking for.
In fact, we successfully held our first job caravan at Titay Municipal Session Hall on 29 October 2021, in coordination with Board Member Jed Jajurie and Councilor Lau Jajurie, and with a warm welcome from LGU Titay. The job caravan started at 11:00 in the morning and ended at 4:00 pm. Our team arrived at around 10:30 am to prepare, and on arrival there were already applicants waiting outside the Municipal Hall.
As our team set up the session hall for the interviews, applicants were already flocking in and were attended by our gatekeepers, who kept everyone in line and maintained orderliness. iFOVS does value being organised. Social distancing was implemented, with each interview table — Initial, Pre-Final and Final — arranged more than a metre apart. Free snacks were given to every applicant to make up for the effort of coming to apply.
Multiple interviews went on through the day. Though our team had just come off their graveyard shift at the office, they stayed presentable and carried out interviews with different applicants flawlessly.
Some failed the initial round; some made it through to the final interview. In the end it was the CEO himself, with the help of his trusted team, who filtered out who was fit to become part of the iFOVS family, based on his preferred criteria.
Everything went well. Those who passed will be trained to become future assets, as the company keeps searching for new aspirants who deserve a place with us.
Virtual work has a reputation for being something you can only get into from a big city. We do not think that is true, and the caravan exists to prove it. Bringing the interview to the municipality rather than asking people to travel to us removes the single biggest barrier for a lot of capable applicants — the cost and time of getting to an interview that might not go anywhere.
If you are interested in joining, our applicants’ pre-test is open online, and applications can be sent to our HR team at any time.
