Social Media Virtual Assistants
Social media stops working the week it becomes nobody’s job. iFOVS places Philippines-based assistants who keep it running — publishing, replying and reporting, consistently.
What your iFOVS social media assistant does
- Builds and maintains the content calendar
- Produces graphics and short-form edits in Canva or CapCut to your brand template
- Writes captions in your voice and schedules across every platform
- Replies to comments and direct messages within your response window
- Monitors mentions and flags anything that needs you personally
- Repurposes one piece of content across formats instead of starting from nothing each time
- Sources and organises user-generated content and testimonials
- Tracks reach, engagement and follower growth and reports monthly
- Watches what competitors are actually doing
- Keeps profile information, links and pinned posts current

Who this works for
- Service businesses whose social presence stalled months ago
- E-commerce brands needing steady content and fast comment response
- Agencies needing production capacity behind their strategy
- Founders who know their personal LinkedIn is their best channel and have no time to run it
The honest version
A social media assistant will not invent your brand voice or your strategy. What they will do is execute reliably — which is the part that actually fails. Most businesses do not have a content problem, they have a consistency problem, and consistency is exactly what a dedicated person fixes.
Give them a clear voice, a monthly steer on themes, and the freedom to ask questions, and they will outperform an expensive agency that posts on a schedule and never replies to anyone.
What it costs
Social media assistants are hired on a straight hourly rate, part-time or full-time.
How to choose a social media assistant
Almost everyone in this category can schedule posts. Very few can write, and fewer still handle the replies where the leads actually are.
Ask for accounts they grew, with numbers
Not accounts they managed — accounts they grew. Followers, reach, and what changed. Vague answers mean they were scheduling someone else’s work.
Establish whether they write or only publish
These are separate skills at separate rates. Decide which you are buying before the interview, and ask for writing samples if it is the first.
Test comment and DM handling
Inbound replies are where social produces business. Ask how they handle a hostile comment and a genuine enquiry, because the second is often buried under the first.
Check they adapt per platform
One post pushed to five networks reads as automation on all five. Ask what they would change between LinkedIn and Instagram for the same message.
The one question to ask in the interview
Show me a post you wrote that flopped, and tell me why.
What a good answer sounds like: Anyone who cannot name one has not published enough, or has not been paying attention to what happened after.
Frequently asked questions
Can they design as well as schedule?
Yes, within brand templates in Canva. For high-end design work you want a designer, and we will say so rather than overpromise.
Will they write in our voice?
They draft to your tone guide and you approve until it is right — usually two to four weeks. If you do not have a tone guide, we will build one with you during onboarding.
Can they run paid ads?
The role described here is organic. If you need paid media management, tell us and we will be straight about whether we have the right person.
Which timezone will they work?
Yours, so replies land while your audience is awake.
What if the person is not a fit?
Replaced at no cost if the fit is wrong early on.
