Virtual Assistants for Australian and NZ Businesses
This is the strongest timezone match in offshore support anywhere in the world, and it is why so much Australian outsourcing goes to the Philippines specifically.
The same working day
Manila is two hours behind Sydney, one behind Brisbane, and the same as Perth. New Zealand is four hours ahead of Manila.
There is no night shift, no handover document, no waiting until tomorrow for an answer. Your assistant starts shortly after you do and finishes shortly after you finish. In practice you are simply working together.
Everything that makes offshore support awkward for US and UK businesses — asynchronous handovers, delayed answers, someone inverting their life to cover your hours — does not apply here. It also means retention is better, because nobody is working nights.
Bookkeeping, and why this market is different
Australia has the deepest Xero adoption of any market on earth, and Philippine bookkeepers have followed it. BAS preparation, GST, PAYG instalments, superannuation processing and Single Touch Payroll are established skills here rather than something to be trained from scratch.
If you run an accounting practice, the busy-season capacity problem is the one we most often solve — see support for accounting firms and Xero bookkeepers.
Privacy Act obligations
Australian Privacy Principle 8 makes you accountable for personal information disclosed to an overseas recipient, and generally requires you to take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient does not breach the APPs.
Our controls exist to make that practical: NDA before access, individually named logins, access logging, minimum-necessary permissions, office-based work with controlled screens, and a written agreement we will sign. New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020 imposes a comparable obligation for cross-border disclosure.
The determination that your arrangement meets those obligations is yours to make. We will provide what it needs.

Frequently asked questions
Do Fair Work obligations apply?
No. We are the employer in the Philippines. No superannuation, no Fair Work exposure, no payroll tax. You receive an invoice for services.
Will they understand BAS and GST?
We recruit for it specifically rather than assume it. Ask candidates directly at interview — the difference between someone who has lodged BAS and someone who has read about it shows up immediately.
Can they work Australian public holidays?
We work your calendar, including state variation. Tell us which days you observe.
Does the timezone really work that well?
Yes, and it is the single most common piece of positive feedback from Australian clients. There is no meaningful lag.
Do you work with New Zealand businesses?
Yes. Four hours’ difference, and Xero fluency transfers directly.
